Staying Safe-Physically, Mentally and Emotionally
We want everyone to be SAFE this school year. Here are our suggestions for a safe and healthy school year:
1. WEAR A MASK- As Gov. Herbert has mandated, all individuals within a school building must wear a face mask. We recommend that students bring two masks to school if one gets soiled or lost. MASKS MUST COVER YOUR NOSE AND MOUTH AT ALL TIMES. WASH THEM DAILY.
2. PRACTICE GOOD HYGEINE- Wash and sanitize your hands frequently. Take a shower daily. Do your laundry. Refrain from touching your face and mouth.
3. KEEP A SAFE DISTANCE- When possible, keep a 6-foot distance away from others. Keep your hands to yourself and do not share items like school supplies, food, water bottles, etc.
4. TALK TO SOMEONE- These are uncertain times. If you are feeling unsure, anxious, nervous, mad, sad, frustrated please reach out. Your school counselors are here to help. We can also provide resources for support outside of school. 5. THINK POSITIVELY- We totally got this! There are a lot of unknowns and we may be asked to change, pivot, and move, but we can do this! This is new territory for EVERYONE. We must move forward together and with courage and positivity. We are here to support you!
